CVE-2026-56257Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-organization data access via direct ownership patch

Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026

Authorization bypass in Capgo before 12.128.2 allows remote authenticated users to create split ownership through PostgREST. A direct PATCH to public.apps.owner_org bypasses transfer_app(), changing the app row without updating app_versions.owner_org or transfer history. A credential with permission to update the app record is required; old-organization keys retain version-data access while the new organization controls the app.
