CVE-2026-56256Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated 2FA bypass via unchecked backend requests

Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026

Authentication bypass in Capgo before 12.128.2 allows remote authenticated users to perform organization actions without mandatory 2FA. The organization-management UI checks 2FA state, but its backend API endpoints execute privileged requests without repeating that check. Exploitation requires an authenticated Admin account and a captured valid request; successful replay can alter organization details or invite users.
