CVE-2026-56243Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Hashed-key policy bypass via plaintext API key

Published Jun 23, 2026 · Updated Jun 23, 2026

Authentication bypass in Capgo before 12.128.2 allows remote authenticated users to access RLS-protected resources with plaintext API keys. The get_identity and find_apikey_by_value path matches capgkey values against plaintext key records without consulting enforce_hashed_api_keys. A still-valid plaintext API key and an organization with hashed-key enforcement enabled are required; access remains limited to that key's assigned permissions.
