CVE-2026-56240Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Billing authorization bypass via stale credit-grant flag

Published Jul 11, 2026 · Updated Jul 11, 2026

Improper authorization in Capgo before 12.128.12 allows remote authenticated users to retain plugin endpoint access after credit depletion. buildPlanValidationExpression() treats any existing usage-credit grant as valid without checking whether the grant is unexpired and has a positive balance. An organization must previously have received credits; once those credits expire or are exhausted, the flaw preserves access to update, statistics, channel self-assignment, and attachment-upload operations.
