Broken authentication in Capgo before 12.128.2 allows remote attackers to generate arbitrary API keys and access protected endpoints. The API-key generation backend accepts a client-supplied key value without securely generating it server-side or binding it to an authenticated identity. The exposed network request requires no prior privileges or user interaction; resulting keys enable unauthorized use of protected API endpoints.
