System takeover via unauthenticated AI tools
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
Improper authentication in JeecgBoot 3.9.0 and 3.9.1 allows remote attackers to invoke sensitive AI chat tools without credentials. AiragChatServiceImpl.sendWithDefault loads JeecgBizToolsProvider default tools for anonymous requests to /airag/chat/send without checking the current user. Exploitation requires a configured LLM API key and allows account-data access, user creation, role assignment, and system takeover.
