Privilege escalation via authentication-detail attachment
Published Jun 19, 2026 · Updated Jun 19, 2026
Privilege escalation in affected JetBrains Hub 2024.2 through 2026.1 builds allows remote authenticated users to gain account privileges. Hub permits authentication details belonging to another account to be attached to the attacker's account; JetBrains has not disclosed the affected endpoint or missing authorization check. A valid low-privilege account is required, and exploitation grants the privileges of the account whose authentication details are attached.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
