Unsafe deserialization in Feast before 0.63.0 allows remote attackers to execute OS commands through a crafted registry gRPC request. ApplyFeatureView passes an incoming OnDemandFeatureView UDF body to dill.loads() before assert_permissions_to_update evaluates access. Network access to the registry service is sufficient, and commands run with the Feast service account's privileges.
