Resource enumeration via registry authorization fall-through
Published Oct 1, 2026 · Updated Oct 1, 2026
Information disclosure in Red Hat Satellite's Katello registry controller allows remote attackers to enumerate users, organizations, and products. The registry_authorize filter calls unauthorized but does not explicitly stop the path, exposing resource-existence differences in later validation responses. A reachable, configured container registry is required; the reported effect is enumeration, not direct access to the named resources.
