Arbitrary code execution via indexed serialized objects

Insecure deserialization in Apache Solr for TYPO3 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code during indexing. The indexer passes values returned by SOLR_CLASSIFICATION, SOLR_MULTIVALUE, and SOLR_RELATION content objects to PHP unserialize(), reconstructing attacker-supplied objects rather than parsing a non-executable data format. Exploitation requires permission to save content that reaches an indexed field; successful object injection runs in the indexing process and can compromise its confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
