CVE-2026-56078Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file access via unsanitized agent IDs

Published Jun 18, 2026 · Updated Jun 18, 2026

Path traversal in MultiAgentMonitor in PraisonAI before 1.5.115 allows remote authenticated users to read or write arbitrary files. The component directly combines its base path with an unvalidated agent ID, allowing ../ or backslash traversal sequences to escape the monitor directory. A low-privileged user who can create an agent with a crafted ID can expose or corrupt host files; code execution requires overwriting executable content.
