Authentication bypass in Webmin before 2.640 allows remote authenticated users to evade account-level two-factor authentication. The miniserv.pl handle_request path validates HTTP Basic credentials but accepts the account without checking its twofactor_provider setting. Exploitation requires a valid username and password for a 2FA-enrolled account and grants that account's Webmin permissions without the second factor.
