Local command execution via interpolated tool arguments
Published Apr 5, 2026 · Updated Apr 5, 2026
OS command injection in Nor2-io Heim MCP 0.1.3 and earlier allows local users to execute shell commands through crafted tool inputs. The registerTools handlers interpolate path, specification, name, version, language, and base-path values into strings passed to child_process.exec. Code runs with the MCP server process privileges when a local user or locally configured AI agent invokes an affected creation or deployment tool.
