CVE-2026-55887Hinoki check available

Host code execution via untrusted OCI label fields

Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026

Argument injection in Docker MCP Gateway 0.21.0 through 0.42.1 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code on the host via a malicious OCI image. The gateway unmarshals the io.docker.server.metadata label into catalog.Server and appends its runtime fields to docker run without an origin allowlist. Exploitation requires a victim to select a direct docker reference or import a catalog snapshot controlled by the malicious image author.
