CVE-2026-55881Network attack vector

Cross-tenant replay disclosure via missing session ownership check

Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026

Authorization bypass in OpenReplay 1.22.0 through 1.26.9 allows remote authenticated users to read cross-tenant session replay data. The getFirstMob handler uses the session path value to mint 15-second presigned S3 URLs after validateProjectAccess checks only project tenancy, without confirming that the session belongs to the project. Exploitation requires a low-privilege account and multi-tenancy, and exposes only the first 15 seconds of a selected recording.
