CVE-2026-55866Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Authorization bypass via omitted cache-key hints

Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026

Authorization bypass in AuthZed SpiceDB allows attackers to gain unconditional permission through dispatch cache poisoning. The checkRequestToKey and checkRequestToKeyWithCanonical functions omit CheckHints from dispatch cache keys, allowing one hint set to reuse a result computed for another. Exploitation requires intersecting or excluding relations, caveated and non-caveated paths, an enabled dispatch cache, and concurrent context-bearing lookups and checks for the same subject and resource.
