CVE-2026-55834Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Victim redirection via unchecked OIDC callback URL

Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026

Open redirect in Pocket ID 2.6.0 through 2.8.0 allows remote attackers to redirect victim browsers via crafted OIDC authorization links. The prompt=none failure path reads redirect_uri in +page.ts, then +page.svelte assigns the raw HTTP or HTTPS callback URL to window.location.href without backend allow-list validation. A known client_id and victim interaction are required; the result is redirection to an attacker-controlled origin for phishing or OIDC error and state smuggling.
