Stored XSS via unsanitized block labels
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Stored XSS in Drupal core before 10.6.13 and 11.0.0 through 11.4.3 allows remote authenticated users to run script in an editor's browser. The Layout Builder module insufficiently sanitizes stored block labels before rendering them in its editing interface. Exploitation requires both the attacker and targeted user to access that interface, and script runs in the targeted user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
