Code execution or SQL injection via gadget chain
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Object injection in Drupal core allows attackers to turn a separate unsafe-deserialization flaw into remote code execution or SQL injection. A chain of undisclosed core methods acts as PHP deserialization gadgets when attacker-controlled data reaches unserialize(). The chain is not directly exploitable: a separate flaw must pass unsafe input to unserialize(), after which the bounded impact is code execution or SQL injection.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
