CVE-2026-55780Public exploit

Process crash via unbounded bundle entry allocation

Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026

Denial of service in M2-Team NanaZip before 6.5.1749.0 allows local users to crash the process by extracting a crafted .NET bundle. The DotNetSingleFile Extract method allocates a vector from an entry Size checked only for sign and not bounded by the bundle's real size; allocation exceptions escape its COM boundary. A victim must extract the malicious entry, after which the unhandled length or allocation exception terminates NanaZip without affecting confidentiality or integrity.
