Forced file upload via missing CSRF validation
Published Jun 18, 2026 · Updated Jun 18, 2026
CSRF in Cotonti 1.0.0 Personal File Storage allows remote attackers to upload arbitrary files through an authenticated user's browser. The upload branch in modules/pfs/inc/pfs.main.php accepts multipart file data without calling cot_check_xg() to validate the anti-CSRF token. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to visit an attacker-controlled page, and the resulting files are stored in that user's PFS area.
