Command execution via shell allowlist validation gaps
Published Jun 17, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Shell allowlist bypass in TinyHumans OpenHuman 0.54.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands via agent-ingested content. In src/openhuman/security/policy.rs, is_args_safe omits command-executing find options, while skip_env_assignments removes environment assignments before validation even though they alter subsequent execution. Under the default Supervised policy, exploitation requires the agent to follow instructions in attacker-controlled content; commands run with the desktop user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
