Credential theft via browser localStorage link exposure
Published Jul 24, 2026 · Updated Jul 24, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in LOYTEC LWEB-802 before 5.0.8 allows remote attackers to steal stored management credentials. The browser application retains project usernames and passwords in localStorage and exposes them when a victim follows an attacker-controlled link. Exploitation requires a victim with saved project credentials to open the link; the stolen username and password permit management-web login.
