Session hijacking via attacker-controlled session cookie
Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026
Session fixation in WeGIA before 3.8.6 allows remote attackers to hijack authenticated sessions via an attacker-selected PHPSESSID cookie. The auto-prepended web/html/seguranca/sessionStart.php reflects the supplied identifier in Set-Cookie and exposes the internal database hostname by placing DB_HOST in its Domain attribute. Hijacking requires a victim to authenticate using the attacker-selected identifier; the attacker then reuses that identifier to access the victim's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
