Unauthenticated command execution via installer input injection
Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026
Command injection in the WeGIA installer before 3.8.6 allows remote attackers to execute commands via unauthenticated POST data. The web/instalador/instalador.php endpoint passes usuario into shell_exec(), writes untrusted values into executable config.php, and concatenates nomebd into CREATE DATABASE. Exploitation requires a pre-installation state without config.php; the Linux reinstall flow executes commands as the web-server user, while injected configuration persists PHP code and permits application or data alteration and disruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
