Credential exposure via unchecked material test context
Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
Authorization bypass in Thoughtworks GoCD 16.1.0 through 25.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to expose source-control credentials. The material connection test APIs accept an arbitrary existing pipeline and group context without verifying that the caller administers that context. Pipeline group administrator access is required; affected 20.6.0 and later deployments can also resolve protected external secrets.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
