Authenticated internal service access via fail-open DNS validation
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
SSRF in the Jobs API in PraisonAI before 4.6.58 allows remote authenticated users to send webhook POSTs to internal services. JobSubmitRequest.validate_webhook_url() accepts a hostname when its validation lookup raises socket.gaierror, while JobExecutor._send_webhook() resolves it again before posting the job result. Job-submission access and attacker-controlled DNS are required, exposing job-result data to the selected endpoint and permitting requests to internal HTTP services.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
