Unauthenticated agent execution via unenforced API key
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Missing authentication in PraisonAI 4.6.34 through 4.6.57 allows remote attackers to invoke configured agents over HTTP without credentials. The _create_agents_app function registers POST /agents and POST /agents/{agent_name} without applying the API key supplied by the serve command. Exploitation requires network access to the Agents server and executes its configured workflows and connected tools with the server's privileges.
