Internal data disclosure via redirect and DNS bypass
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
SSRF in the PraisonAI web_crawl tool before 1.6.58 allows remote attackers to read internal HTTP resources through crafted URLs. The tool validates one hostname resolution, then follows redirects or resolves the hostname again at connection time without validating the resulting destination. Exploitation requires control of a URL reaching web_crawl, directly or through an agent workflow, and returns content from reachable private, loopback, or metadata services.
