CVE-2026-55513Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Extended enrollment access via hardcoded token expiry

Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026

Insufficient token expiration in Forgekeep nebula-mesh 0.3.0 through 0.4.x allows remote authenticated users to extend host enrollment access. POST /ui/hosts sets new agent enrollment tokens to expire after 24 hours instead of applying the server or per-network configured TTL resolver. Any Web UI operator able to create a host can mint the bearer token; if exposed, it remains usable to enroll that pending host and obtain its certificate and configuration beyond the intended lifetime.
