Credential theft and takeover via unrestricted database transfer
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Improper authorization in Decolua 9Router before 0.4.80 allows remote authenticated users to export or overwrite its database. The /api/settings/database GET handler serializes complete tables with plaintext secrets, while POST passes supplied JSON to importDb, which deletes existing rows and inserts attacker-controlled data without re-authentication. Any valid dashboard JWT or CLI token reaches these operations, exposing API keys and OAuth tokens or enabling settings replacement and service interruption.
