File disclosure via shared-folder symlink escape
Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026
Path traversal in error311 FileRise before 3.15.0 allows remote attackers to read unshared files through public folder links. FolderModel::resolveFolderPath() resolves shared subpaths against the upload root rather than the original shared folder, allowing symlinks to escape into sibling directories. Exploitation requires a valid share token, enabled subfolder browsing, and an existing symlink to a readable sibling folder; listing, direct download, and ZIP creation disclose its files.
