Unauthenticated Docker management via empty-secret signature bypass
Published Sep 30, 2026 · Updated Sep 30, 2026
Authentication bypass in Quenary Tugtainer Agent before 1.30.4 lets remote attackers access Docker management APIs over HTTP. In agent/auth.py, verify_signature returns successfully when Config.AGENT_SECRET is empty, skipping request-signature validation for protected routes. Exploitation requires a reachable Agent HTTP port and an unset secret; available Docker socket or proxy permissions determine whether attackers can inspect, create, stop, or remove containers.
