Authenticated root command execution via MAC-filter input
Published Apr 5, 2026 · Updated Apr 5, 2026
OS command injection in Tenda AC10 16.03.10.10_multi_TDE01 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through the web interface. The formAddMacfilterRule handler in /bin/httpd passes a MAC-filter parameter obtained by websGetVar() to doSystemCmd() after validation that fails to reject shell metacharacters. Valid router administrator credentials are required, and injected commands run with root-level privileges on the device.
