CVE-2026-55461Network attack vector

Open redirect via session-stored Referer

Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026

Open redirect in Grokability Snipe-IT before 8.6.2 allows remote attackers to redirect authenticated users through a crafted Referer header. The user edit flow saves url()->previous() from the untrusted Referer into Laravel's intended URL session value, then redirect()->intended(...) accepts that value when redirect_option=back is submitted. A logged-in user with permission to edit a user record must open the prepared edit page and complete a legitimate edit, after which the trusted redirect can support phishing or trust-boundary attacks.
