Continued AI Bridge access via suspended-user tokens
Published Jul 7, 2026 · Updated Jul 7, 2026
Incorrect authorization in affected Coder releases allows remote authenticated users to retain AI Bridge access after account suspension. The affected ranges are 2.30.0 through 2.32.6, 2.33.0 through 2.33.7, and 2.34.0 through 2.34.1; Server.IsAuthorized in coderd/aibridgedserver checks token validity and deleted or system status but omits whether the account is suspended. An already-issued unexpired API key is required; continued calls can consume paid LLM resources and invoke enabled injected MCP tools.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
