Code execution via newline-injected import statements
Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026
Code injection in koxudaxi datamodel-code-generator 0.11.6 through 0.63.0 allows attackers to execute Python code via a crafted schema. Import.from_full_path splits extension values only on periods, and Imports.create_line renders newline-bearing segments verbatim into import statements. Execution occurs only after a consumer processes an untrusted schema and imports the generated model, with the importing process's privileges.
