Authenticated data disclosure via unchecked ORDER BY expressions
Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026
SQL injection in InvoiceShelf before 2.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to extract database information via list sorting. Invoice::scopeApplyFilters passes the orderByField query parameter into Laravel orderBy calls without restricting it to column identifiers. A valid login is required, and crafted SQL expressions enable boolean-based blind extraction across invoice and other list endpoints.
