Heap buffer overflow in the Pixel-family Android kernel allows local users to gain elevated privileges without user interaction. The gf_base_update_finger_base function in gf_base.c writes beyond a heap allocation; Google has not disclosed the triggering input or failed bounds check. Exploitation requires local code execution on an affected Pixel-family device and can elevate that code beyond its existing privileges.
