Cross-project access via unvalidated scoped-team assignments
Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Authorization bypass in Weblate before 2026.7 allows remote authenticated users to access and modify unauthorized private projects. GroupSerializer accepted project and workspace identifiers for scoped teams without constraining related-object querysets or locking project selection. Project-manager privileges are required; successful requests expose private content and permit translation, repository, and project-management operations.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
