CVE-2026-55227Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Private object discovery via globally scoped lookups

Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026

Observable discrepancy in Weblate before 2026.7 allows remote authenticated users to infer whether private-project objects exist. Several HTML and AJAX endpoints use globally scoped object lookups, returning HTTP 403 for existing inaccessible objects but HTTP 404 for absent ones. Any low-privileged account can compare status codes to enumerate object existence, but this flaw does not disclose object contents.
