CVE-2026-55185Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Open redirect via backslash-normalized login target

Published Aug 21, 2026 · Updated Aug 21, 2026

Open redirect in Miniflux 2 before 2.3.1 allows remote attackers to send victims to an external site through a crafted login redirect. IsRelativePath in internal/urllib/url.go accepts backslashes as ordinary path characters, but browsers normalize them into forward slashes after redirection. Exploitation requires a victim to submit the crafted redirect_url through the login flow, after which the browser leaves the trusted Miniflux origin.
