Unauthenticated JSONL disclosure via session ID traversal
Published Sep 28, 2026 · Updated Sep 28, 2026
Path traversal in Ooples Token Optimizer MCP before 5.1.0 allows remote attackers to read JSONL files through dashboard session APIs. The session-summary and session-events handlers pass an unvalidated sessionId into path.join and then read the resolved file outside the intended log directory. Exploitation requires network access to the dashboard; disclosure is limited to JSONL files readable by its process.
