CVE-2026-55102Hinoki check available

Vault credential disclosure via raw Axios errors

Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026

Sensitive information exposure in Kyndryl Hashi Vault JS 0.5.1 and earlier allows attackers with log access to read Vault credentials. Every Vault.js API method passes failed requests to parseAxiosError(), which rethrows the raw AxiosError with its request headers and body intact. Exposure requires a consuming application to record the exception; resulting logs can disclose live Vault tokens, passwords, and submitted secrets to anyone permitted to read them.
