Stored script execution via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Stored XSS in StellarWP GiveWP 4.14.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through the give_form shortcode. The shortcode passes continue_button_title and display_style through sanitize_text_field() but inserts them into HTML data attributes without output escaping. Contributor-level access permits persistent page injection, and the payload runs when a visitor opens the affected page.
