Arbitrary database read via unquoted filter column
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
SQL injection in the DHIS2 Core SqlView API allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary database content through its filter parameter. DefaultSqlViewService.getFilterQuery concatenates the user-controlled filter column name raw into a generated WHERE clause instead of quoting it as a PostgreSQL identifier. Any authenticated user with read access to a SQL View can trigger error-based extraction through PostgreSQL type-cast errors, with no administrative privilege required.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
