Subscriber-level token disclosure via capability-check omission
Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026
Missing authorization in ExactMetrics 9.1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to retrieve Google Ads access tokens via AJAX. The get_ads_access_token() and reset_experience() handlers verify a nonce exposed on subscriber-accessible admin pages but omit the exactmetrics_save_settings capability check. Subscriber-level access therefore permits token disclosure and unauthorized resets of the site's Google Ads integration settings.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
