Unauthenticated backup disclosure via direct storage access
Published Jun 26, 2026 · Updated Jun 26, 2026
Authorization bypass in KingAddons.com Trinity Backup 2.0.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to download stored site backups. The plugin stores backup archives and job-state files under a web-accessible path and permits direct requests instead of routing downloads through an authenticated WordPress handler. No account or user interaction is required; exposed archives can contain database records and all wp-content files, while the published impact is limited to disclosure.
