Contributor-level code execution via token-validation bypass
Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026
Code injection in Marketing Fire, LLC Widget Options 4.2.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The block-renderer path passes extended_widget_opts_block.class.logic to widgetopts_safe_eval(), while token validation misses a concatenated variable-variable call preceded by a closing-brace token. Contributor access and an enabled Display Logic module are required; execution occurs as the WordPress web-server user.
