Authenticated SQL injection via stored table identifier
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
SQL injection in InvoicePlane before 1.7.2 allows remote authenticated users to query arbitrary schema data through custom-field settings. The application stores custom_field_table verbatim, then Mdl_custom_fields::used() inserts it unescaped into FROM-table and WHERE-column identifier positions. Administrator access is required; opening the crafted field's edit form runs the stored injection and can expose schema data or interrupt the application.
